1. Return Eligibility
You can request a return within 7 days of delivery for:
- Damaged Book: Torn, wet, or defective book received
- Wrong Book: Incorrect book was shipped
- Missing Pages: Book has missing pages
- Note: Returns are NOT accepted for “changed my mind” or “didn’t like it” reasons.
2. How to Request a Return
- Email us at support@bookworld.in within 48 hours of delivery
- Include your Order ID + Photo/Video proof
- Once approved, our team will arrange a free pickup
- Pickup is free of cost
3. Refund Process
- Refund Timeline: 5-7 working days after we receive the returned book
- Refund Method: Refunded to the original payment method – UPI/Card/Netbanking
- COD Orders: Bank details required. Refund will be processed within 7 days
4. Non-Refundable Items
- Shipping Charges are non-refundable
- Requests made after 7 days will not be accepted
- Books damaged by the customer
5. Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. Once shipped, cancellation is not possible. You can request a return instead.
