1. General
1.1 Book World is an online bookstore.
1.2 All prices on the website include GST.
1.3 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Orders & Payment
2.1 Order Confirmation: An order is confirmed only after successful payment or when COD is selected.
2.2 Payment Methods: We accept UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, and COD. An extra ₹50 charge applies to COD orders.
2.3 Pricing Errors: If a book is listed at an incorrect price due to a technical error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
3. Shipping & Delivery
3.1 Delivery Time: Pan India delivery takes 3-7 working days. Metro cities: 2-4 working days.
3.2 Shipping Charges: Free shipping on orders above ₹499. Orders below ₹499 have a flat ₹60 shipping charge.
3.3 Address: We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
3.4 Out of Stock: If a book is out of stock, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
4. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
4.1 Returns: Damaged, defective, or wrong books can be returned within 7 days of delivery with photo/video proof.
4.2 Refunds: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 working days after we receive the returned item. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
4.3 Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. Orders cannot be cancelled after shipping.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, images, and text on this website are the property of Book World. Unauthorized use, copying, or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
6. User Account & Responsibilities
6.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
6.2 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information.
6.3 Users under 18 must have parental consent to make purchases.
7. Limitation of Liability
Book World shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or products.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
